Well, I sure do love to dance, so I was excited to be included in a Time to Dance treasury on etsy. Thanks moosusiemoo! I adore the Juliet.

Ooh (ew) Cicadas
Just in case you are living under a rock (rather, not living in Nashville), we have been experiencing an outbreak, plague, end times infestation of cicadas. They are literally everywhere, and yes they have attacked me. More than once.
But we live in Nashville. We love Nashville! So when something so horrendously terrible like this occurs (also reference the flood of 2010 and various tornadoes), what do we do? We make it into art or music, and we party.
Enter OMG. A cute new home/ vintage shop on the east side, Old Made Good, cleverly abbreviated OMG, which is what you are going to say when you see all the great finds in the well-decorated rooms of the shop. You really do need to see for yourself, but here's a fun little teaser. I captured these shots last Friday night during their cicada art party, which featured prints by Anderson Design Group and beer by a new, female-fronted brewery, Jackalope. There were also cicada looking treats and guitar-shaped cicada swatters. Brilliant.
Embroidered dreamcatcher art, Say Ooh.
Cute vintage kitchen goodies. Obviously a weakness of mine.
Hidden nook showcasing a vintage library.
Vintage deer metal shadowbox. Adorable for a child's play room.
Tall, skinny, vintage glasses. Weakness after weakness!
A lovely display and Say Ooh portraits.
You can also find my accessories nestled throughout the store, and a variety of talented local designers along with vintage clothing!
